  Very poor indeed. Where do I start, well I'll give it a shot. I am a carpenter and this is probably the worst place I have stayed in for 20 years. This place is a disgrace. I'll tell you why. I'll make a list for all to see and if you like, I have the photos to prove it upon request. We stayed here for 6 days in December 2014 until News Years Day 2015. The photos portraying this cottage as they are are false, that's what it should look like but it doesn't. The doors do not have fly screens, there is no entrance set on the front door so it must be kelp either fully open of locked as it only contains a deadlock. The lock on the main bedroom door does not work. There are kobwebs in the glass gable windows. the oven is dirty (needing oven cleaner to remove baked on dirt). Two of the 3 bedrooms do not have curtains, so you wake up with the birds, and God help you if you want privacy at night for your daughters as the neighbours can see straight in. The lawns weren't mowed or the footpath weeded. The downpipe near the front door is just hanging on by a couple of screws and it swings in the breeze so cross your fingers that no child should go near it as it could crash down anytime. The bathroom is nothing like the photos as it's old and dirty. The floor in the main bedroom has at least 50mmm fall in it so you sleep on an angle. The fans don't have extension leads so you can't place them where you need them. As there is no aircon, you swelter because there are no flyscreens on any outside doors and you get eaten alive if you leave your door open. it's like going to the snowy or blue mountains in winter and there is no heater! We payed around $1600 for 6 nights and it was atrocious because of the heat. The star rating is a sham and should be reviewed as it is nowhere near a 2 star rating let alone a 4 star. That's like saying this is 1 star below the Hilton! This is false advertising to the extreme. Steer clear of this place and find alternative accomodation with air con as this place is living in the past. The facilities are a joke and this place is probably only good in autumn or spring when you're not looking for comfort. This place is a D minus.
